The Training Needs Analysis is a vital part of any proposed training plan, and there are several ways in which InTek Training can help to make your training requirement a success.

Questionnaires

Pre-course questionnaires can be used prior to the training, to assess proposed delegates current level of ability. They will in addition provide a basis for the grouping of delegates into that of similar abilities and removing the stigma from individuals of being on a course with people at a higher/lower level than themselves. They will also determine the delegates’ exact needs and requirements from attending the course so hopefully meeting all their needs.

On Site Researcher

The provision of an experience On-Site Training needs analysis researcher, is the ideal option and will give the best pre-course information. The researcher will visit your site and in association with you produce a list of the individual delegates training requirements. The process is achieved in 2 ways, the first by interviewing department heads / managers to asses the requirements from the department, as to what additional skills the proposed training nominee will need. Then secondly to interview each individual who have been nominated for training. During this it will be established what the delegate requires from their training and enabling the production of the individuals job specification and how best the training could serve them and make them more productive.

Both the above forms of TNA will provide a firm grounding prior to the organisation of any training and will allow for the setting up of cross site communities and multifunctional grouping which would be the best approach to a large training requirement such as this. This would mean that delegates who perform a similar job even if different departments could be grouped together to construct a group of delegates of the same ability and who have the same goals to achieve on completion of the course.
