BRIEF JOB
DESCRIPTION: Responsible for defining and selling
technical solutions (application and infrastructure) for Client business problems in the
Financial Markets back office area, designing the application and infrastructure
architectures, and providing technical management, direction and quality assurance to
implementation teams.
EXPERIENCE:
 | Experienced technical professional with proven track record in the back office of one or
more major Financial Markets Institution or consultancy (especially equities back office).
He/she should have at least ten years of experience in the Industry. |
 | He/she must have managed the definition of at least three significant back office
architectures, and had technical management responsibility for at least one successful
major implementation of a back office system. In scope those implementations must have
addressed either the whole or a significant part of the back office processes, and must
have involved, - Application and/or infrastructure architectures, - Integration with
existing external and internal systems, - Application and integration of a wide variety of
products, technologies and services |
SKILLS REQUIRED:
 | Extensive knowledge of systems, architectures, system management, data management and
integration, networking. |
 | Experience with application design techniques. |
 | Good understanding of the business processes in the back office and related areas. |
 | Good (written and oral) communication and marketing skills, and proven ability to
present and sell his/her ideas to business users. |
