DESCRIPTION: Responsible for defining and selling business solutions (application and infrastructure) for Client business problems in the Financial Markets back office area, defining business requirements, designing the business application processes and operational infrastructure, and providing business operations management, direction and quality assurance to implementation teams.

The area of back office relates to any set of, business and technical transactional processing, covering all activities relating to Wholesale Banking, Global Custody, Brokerage Services, Private Client Services, Asset and Portfolio Management.

Must have been involved in the management of at least three significant back office product changes, and had operational management responsibility for at least one successful major implementation of a back office system. JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client utilise a number of IT Consultants who provide consultancy to effectively bridge the gap between Business & IT. The main areas covered are IT Strategy, IT Architecture, AD Transformation, Business Process Improvement, Change Management (Agent of Change) and Rapid Application Development. IT Consulting is positioned to help shape client problems and bring to bear the extensive skills and resources our client offers.

The role is to work as a consultant within the Finance Marketplace Practice with (for a number of principals who are setting the business direction) engagements for clients, usually at the business or IT executive level. Although most of the engagements will be of short duration, the focus will be to build trusted client relationships in order to leverage large services projects. Applicants must have a good understanding of technology and its application, including IT processes, IT management or application development with a strong track record of senior management influence.
