JOB DESCRIPTION: The Project manager will be responsible for managing all
aspects of medium to large or sub projects within very large complex projects. The

JOB DESCRIPTION: The AD Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects
of medium to large or sub projects within very large complex developments. The projects
are likely to be based in client sites throughout the UK and could last from a few weeks
to 2 years.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Specific responsibilities will vary by project but are likely to
include:

DESCRIPTION: The Back Office Group is responsible for providing delivery
services business requirements through to systems integration - to clients in the
area of back office services. The area of back office relates to any set of, business and
technical transactional processing, covering all activities relating to Wholesale Banking,
Global Custody, Brokerage Services, Private Client Services, Asset and Portfolio
Management.
Business and technical processing relates to financial activities that
occur between the point of capture through to the point of settlement and/or maturity,
excluding activities relating to risk management, for securities, derivatives, futures and
funding services as well as the management of liquidity across all the stated business
areas.
JOB DESCRIPTION: He/she will have responsibility for managing work in the
business strategy definition, process re-engineering or system implementation projects, in
the Back Office area of Financial Market Institutions in EMEA countries. Will be
responsible for scoping, defining resourcing and selling these projects at both executive
and IT levels, and subsequently the definition and management of the project plans and
activities, resource plans, and budgets. He/she will also have day to day management
responsibility for containment of the project scope, resolution of internal and external
issues, Client satisfaction and project communication.
EXPERIENCE:
Experienced professional with proven track record in the back of one or
more major Financial Markets Institution or in Consultancy (especially equities back
office). He/she should have at least ten years of experience in the Industry. He/she
must have successfully managed at least three significant back office BPR studies or
system implementations to completion on schedule and within budget.
In scope those implementations must have addressed either the whole or a significant
part of the back office processes, and must have involved teams of ten or more business
and/or technical professionals.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Extensive knowledge of project management techniques.
- Good understanding of the business processes in the back office and related
areas.
- Excellent people management and communication skills.
- He/she must be prepared to work abroad.
Experience in the area of straight through processing, and/or the implementation of
business applications or package solutions would be considered an advantage, as would
experience of more than one market (business line or country).

for the Service Management of the network connectivity components of net.compute (i.e.
Lotus Notes and the Internet) which are critical to the delivery of an end-to-end service

support the relationships, processes and procedures for the management of the net.compute
(i.e. Lotus Notes and the Internet) service components and the Service Management of
network connectivity. The deployment of Lotus Notes and the implementation of the Global
Web Architecture (GWA) are the most commonly seen aspects of the service delivered. In
addition there are numerous complementary services which deliver the rounded net.compute
environment (Print, Software Distribution, Service Monitoring). All service components
delivering support to the Account across Europe need to be managed like any other service.
This is the role fulfilled by Analysts in the net.compute and Infrastructure Delivery
team.
